bridal accessories

Bridal accessories are pivotal to any successful wedding ceremony. Couples nowadays are often spoilt for choice because there are many outlets specializing in wedding supplies with the capacity to create unique one off items such as bridal and bridesmaids’ gown, wedding bouquets and tiaras to make sure everyone remembers the ceremony. Nonetheless, it would be sensible to limit the scope of your spending for the wedding accessories according to your budget and in accordance to the wedding theme itself. A wedding ceremony held on a shoestring budget can be just as successful as a lavish ceremony with an extravagant budget as long as it is planned carefully and meticulously.

Bridal accessories include items such as the bridal gown, headpieces, veils, jewelry, handbags, hair accessories, tiaras, gloves, purses, wraps, shawls, and handkerchiefs. There are many different varieties of wedding gowns that you can choose from. The designer wedding dress is the principle element of your attire on your wedding day-all things that you choose to accessorize with should compliment the dress. Try to match the material of your handbag with the material that is on your gown. Bridal tiaras and bridal veils are beautiful accessories for a bride to go along with your bridal gown. There are lots of different ways to wear a tiara; it can be worn at the front of the head, on the crown, even at the back. The placement of the wedding tiara does depend on how you’re wearing your hair. Wedding handkerchiefs are also quite handy during the emotional moments of the wedding ceremony since they can be easily used to dry the eyes of a weepy bride or groom.

Every bride has her own special style and taste, no two brides, no two weddings or floral arrangements are the same. Keep in mind your body size and height, as you will not want a large flowing bouquet if you are very slim or petite. It will just exaggerate you. Same goes if your are voluptuous or tall. Choose something that keeps your overall look in balance.

For the best bridal bouquet ideas there is no substitute for feasting your eyes on selections of beautiful bridal bouquet pictures! There are different types of bouquets; they each have their own unique names. From classic floral arrangements to more unique alternatives, there is a vast array of bridal bouquet ideas to choose from. Whether your wedding is formal and elegant or a casual beach wedding, the right bouquet ends a perfect finishing touch to a gorgeous bride.

Classic bridal bouquets can be designed to fit many types of weddings, whether simple or elegant. Traditional types of arrangements include:

Nosegay or round bouquet:

This type of arrangement is usually small to medium in size. It is typically designed as a round cluster of flowers with minimal greenery. White or pastel flowers are more classic choices in this type of bouquet.

Cascading arrangement:

Cascading bouquets can be beautiful and dramatic. They are often used in formal weddings and consist of a central arrangement that has flowers aggregating downward to give the appearance of a cascade – and hence the name. Roses and calla lilies are traditional flowers for this type, and moderate greenery is typically used.

Creative ideas for your bridal bouquet are as limitless as your imagination:

You can use exotic blooms, brilliant colors, or even use faux flowers of wood, crystal, or paper. For some brides, bouquet alternatives are the answer, and they may not carry flowers at all, but a meaningful object or family heirloom. Arrangements can use various shades of the same color, complementary colors, or even contrasting colors for a unique and dramatic look.

Wedding videography is the documentation of a wedding on video. Wedding video is also being referred to as a wedding film. Let’s remember the purpose of the wedding film; it is a reminder of a wonderful day and of the friends and relatives who joined with bride and groom in the celebration. The thing is to identify your approach, spend time getting prepared, pre-plan capturing key moments (bride coming up the aisle to join groom at altar, vows, signing register etc).

It’s all about the bride and groom. This is the most basic (and most important) tip of all. Keep in mind what they want. Get as many shots of them as you can holding hands at the rehearsal, when they first see each other at the ceremony, walking out together after the vows, the little looks they give each other at the reception, laughing, dancing and enjoying the spotlight. Get other people to talk about them on-camera. Concentrate on getting those once-in-a-lifetime shots.

Wedding Video Planner

Wedding videography is a challenge, because there’s a lot going on and there’s a lot of pressure to capture it all perfectly on video. Plan your shoot, shoot your plan. With a wedding video, it’s not always possible to have an exact plan. Meet with the bride and groom as far in advance as possible. On the practical side, make sure you know where each part of the wedding will take place. Many couples have their receptions and ceremonies at two different facilities. Find out about the people they want included in the video, such as relatives and friends from out of town. Will there be any unusual aspects to the ceremony or reception? Ask about the style of the wedding; will it be traditional, religious, low-key, private or one big party? You’ll find that having as much information as possible ahead of time will influence every aspect of your wedding video, from the types of shots you’ll plan for, to the overall look and feel in the editing phase. Make sure that you capture everything the bride and groom will expect to see in their wedding video.

If you have two video cameras use both of them to shoot the wedding video. That way you can set one up to capture a wide shot of the bride, groom and officiant, and use the other one to get close ups and reaction shots. By using two cameras you know you’ll always have the wide shot to cut away to, which will give you more flexibility during editing and shooting.

Every wedding is unique, but there are certain things that are common to most weddings. This wedding videography checklist should help you make sure you get the important shots that the bride and groom will expect to see in their wedding video.

Choosing Your Wedding Music

The reception is where the culmination of the wedding will be held. It is here where people will get to enjoy the celebration together with the newly married couple. For this matter, every detail of the celebration must provide satisfaction and contentment not only to the bride and groom but to all visitors and guests as well. At the reception, the elements that will make the celebration a success are comfortable venue, great foods, party floor, and, of course, music. The wedding music plays a very important role both in the wedding ceremony and all throughout the culmination of the celebration.

Ceremony Music

The wedding music you choose for your ceremony will set the tone for your entire wedding. Remember to ask your site what types of wedding music they allow – many churches do not allow secular music to be played and have very strict rules about what may be used. Consult with the musical director of your facility to be sure you create a program which is suitable and also suits your own style.

Ceremony music is the music played during the ceremony; i.e., prelude, processional, ceremony, recessional, and postlude. Prelude music is played 15 to 30 minutes before the ceremony begins and while guests are being seated. Processional music is played as the wedding party enters the ceremony site. Ceremony music is played during the ceremony. Recessional music is played as the wedding party leaves the ceremony site. Postlude music is played while guests leave the ceremony site. Options: The most traditional musical instrument for wedding ceremonies is the organ. But guitars, pianos, flutes, harps and violins are also popular today.

Other wedding music you will need to choose include the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, songs to be played during the toasts, bouquet toss, garter removal and toss, cake-cutting, money dance (if you have such a thing), and the last dance. You will also want to consider playing traditional wedding music from your cultural backgrounds.

Don’t forget, when choosing your wedding music, to make a list of songs that you absolutely want to have played at your reception and provide this to your dj or band. If they don’t have it, you will want to obtain a copy yourself of anything you just need played.

For the bride, it’s all about looking exceptional as she would be the cynosure of the event, an event that is going to embark her first step into an altogether new life.choosing your gown first, then choose your bridal jewellery to complement it. When you are choosing your wedding jewellery, you will be influenced by the style of your wedding as well as the style of your dress. When you are deciding on wedding jewellery, it’s not just your neck, ears and wrists that can benefit from a touch of sparkle. Finding jewellery in a similar colour to your bridesmaids’ dresses can be a wonderful way to coordinate the bridal party’s outfits. If you are giving your bridesmaids a present to thank them for their role in your wedding, a piece of jewellery to wear on the day is the perfect gift.  Rings are the most traditional form of wedding jewellery for both men and women, and universally symbolises a marriage between two individuals.

Style of Wedding Dress and Jewellery

Is the gown traditional, modern, simple and flowing, old-world or romantic? Your jewellery should reflect the look and feel you are going for. eg. If you have a modern dress, try choosing accessories with a modern edge, a simple dress may mean that you can have fun your with your jewellery and consider a striking necklace and smaller earrings. Match the type of sparkle in your gown with the sparkle in your bridal accessories. Use crystals with crystals, rhinestones with rhinestones and pearls with pearls, etc. It is also wise to mirror the necklace with the neckline of the dress. ie. a V-shaped or sweet heart neck would look great with a V-shaped or Y-shaped necklace that comes down to a drop. For dresses with higher necklines, you may want to consider have a more striking head-piece/tiara or try some chandelier earrings.

Hair Jewellery

Hair jewellery has become a very popular addition to the bridal outfit. Longer hair will give you more options with hairstyles and tiaras. Remember if you are having an up-style you will probably need a larger tiara to balance out the look. If you have short hair you will want to decide on a lighter, more delicate tiara that will not require lots of pinning to hold it in place. Brides with shorter hair look best in headband styles or tiaras with a smaller shaped comb.
